Checkout, customer accounts and notifications on Shopify are rendered by Shopify; the loader does not run there.
Browsers without Ed25519 support stay on the source language, by design, because signatures are mandatory.
Content drawn into canvas, images, PDFs or cross-origin iframes is not translated.
Machine translation can be wrong. Use the glossary, review important strings, and set manual translations, which machine runs never overwrite.
Variables in curly braces in ordinary prose ({word}) are treated as variables by the extractor.
Per-item limits. Up to 1000 strings per submit request; segments over 20,000 characters are not keyed; list pages at most 100 items.
Import is all or nothing for errors. Any error-level issue rejects the whole import with 422; strings the site does not know are skipped and listed. Machine entries never overwrite reviewed or manual translations.
Quota status needs quotas to be enabled.GET /v1/usage/quota returns 404 on a deployment where they are not. GET /v1/sites/{siteId}/usage returns strings, characters and engine cost per site; the plan view for people is GET /v1/billing/entitlements (owner or admin session).
Not built or not decided yet: public pricing and billing, hosting region, bundle retention after a licence lapses, directory listings (WordPress.org, Shopify App Store), and a production endpoint. See Status.
