What ResilientLang is
ResilientLang translates your website into other languages. The translated text is stored as small static files. Those files live on your own site and on two content delivery networks (CDNs). A visitor's browser reads them directly. It does not need to ask our servers.
That is the whole idea. Our dashboard, our API and our translation engines can all be offline, and your visitors still see translated pages.
What you do#
- Create an account and add your site in the dashboard.
- Choose the languages you want.
- Install the plugin, app or script on your site.
- Let machine translation fill in the text, then check what matters.
- Publish. The translations become static files.
What you get#
- Translation by machine, with a place to review and correct it.
- A glossary, so brand names and key terms stay the way you want them.
- A language switcher for your visitors.
- Export of everything you have translated, in common formats.
What it does not do#
- A script on one address cannot create separate language addresses (
/fr/) for search engines. WordPress, Shopify and the framework kits can. See SEO and the script snippet. - Machine translation can be wrong. Read Machine and reviewed translations.
- Publishing new text needs our servers. Showing text you already published does not. See If our servers are down.
Where things stand#
The product is built and tested in the repository, but nothing is live yet. The product name is a placeholder: OPEN. The real web address, the payment account and the support contact are OPEN too. The plans and prices the owner approved are in Plans and the AI-word allowance. Each article says what is built and what is not.
