A site in ResilientLang is one website you want to translate. Each site has its own languages, its own public key and its own published files.

Add the site#

Open Sites in the dashboard and choose Add a site. The form asks for:

FieldWhat to enter
Site nameOnly you see it. Example: Main store.
Source languageThe language your site is written in. You cannot change it later, because the string keys depend on it.
Translate intoOne or more languages. See Choose your languages.
Allowed originsOptional. Websites allowed to report new text to this site, one per line, like https://shop.example.com. No paths and no wildcards. Leave it empty to turn reporting off.

Choose Create site. Editors, admins and owners can create sites. Viewers cannot.

The site page#

The site page shows a short checklist called "Getting your first translation live": add content, translate, review, publish. It also has the install instructions, Publish now, and for editors, admins and owners the buttons Edit translations, Preview and edit and Review. A button appears only when that part is switched on in your environment.

Your site key#

The site page shows the site key. It looks like rl_site_live_.... It is public. It goes into your pages or plugin so the loader can find your translations. It cannot change anything.

Do not confuse it with a secret API key (rl_sec_...). A secret key must never appear in a web page. See API keys.

Limits#

Your plan limits how many sites and target languages you can have. The Free plan allows 1 site and 1 target language. The dashboard also caps an account at 50 sites and 30 target languages by default. Details are in Plans and the AI-word allowance.

Next#

Install on your site, then publish your first translation.
