Status: Store listing coming
Built and tested against a simulated Shopify (no real development store yet). Store listing coming: not in the Shopify App Store yet.
Translate your Shopify store without leaving Shopify's own language system
Translations are registered in Shopify itself, so they live inside your store. An optional theme embed covers text that Shopify's system cannot reach.

Not in the Shopify App Store yet, so there is no install button. Leave your email in the form further down and we will tell you once, when it is listed.
- Requires Online Store 2.0 themes
- From $12 per month
What you get
-
Stays inside Shopify
Translations are written into your store, so shoppers still see them if our servers are down.
-
Static files for the embed
The optional theme embed reads pre-built static files, not a live service.
-
Shopify's own language URLs
Shopify keeps producing the language URLs, hreflang and sitemaps.
-
Language switcher block
Built on Shopify's localization form, so it works without JavaScript.
-
Your edits are kept
Entries that already have a current translation are skipped unless you choose to overwrite.
-
Search-friendly
Product, collection, page and theme text is translated in one pass.
How it works
Install and choose languages
The app enables the languages you pick (publishing a language is opt-in because it makes its URLs public).
Translate and sync
Machine translation with your glossary. The app registers translations through Shopify's translation API. Existing translations are skipped unless you ask to overwrite them, so your own edits stay.
Shoppers browse in their language
Shopify serves the translated pages at its own language URLs. A switcher block built on Shopify's localization form works without JavaScript. The optional loader embed handles text that Shopify's system does not translate.
Install in minutes
Install the app
Add the app to your store from the Shopify App Store, once it is listed.
Pick your languages
Choose the languages to enable. Publishing a language is opt-in because it makes its URLs public.
Add the switcher
In the theme editor, add the language switcher block to your header or footer.
Honest limits
- Store listing coming: the app is built and tested against a simulated Shopify, but it is not in the Shopify App Store, and the Shopify CLI build and theme checks have not been run on a real store yet.
- Checkout, customer accounts, order status pages and Shopify's notification emails are rendered by Shopify; our loader does not run there. They use Shopify's own languages.
- Product tags cannot be translated through the API. A store can enable at most 20 languages.
- URL handle (slug) translation is opt-in, because changing a handle later can break redirects.
- Words that live hard-coded in a custom theme may not be reachable. Test your theme.
- Pricing is monthly per store; see the pricing page. Shopify's own billing rules for apps are still to be confirmed.
Notify me when it is available
The app is not in the Shopify App Store yet. Leave your email address and we will write to you once, when it is available. This list only collects addresses; nothing is sent until then.

Questions
Will this replace Shopify's own translation features?
No, it builds on them. Translations are written into Shopify's translation system, so they appear in the admin like any others and Shopify keeps producing the language URLs, hreflang and sitemaps.
Will it overwrite translations I wrote by hand?
Not by default. Entries that already have a current translation are skipped unless you choose to overwrite them.
What if your servers are down?
Translations written to Shopify live in your store, so shoppers still see them. The optional loader embed also uses static files. You just cannot edit or publish until we are back.
Can it translate checkout?
No. Shopify renders checkout and customer account pages and our loader does not run there. Use Shopify's own checkout languages for those.
