Give a client access to their sites
If you run translations for clients, you can let a client look at, or review, their own sites without seeing your other sites. This is part of the Agency and Business plans.
Give access#
- Open Agency tools and choose Clients. Owners and admins can do this, with two-factor sign-in.
- Enter the client's email address.
- Choose what they may do: look only, or review (approve or reject suggestions and write comments).
- Tick the sites they may see. They get every language of those sites.
- Send the invitation. The page shows one code for each site, once. If your account sends email, the code was also sent.
What the client does#
- They sign in with the same email address (or sign up and verify it).
- They open Enter a code and paste the code.
- They see only the sites you chose. Other sites of yours look as if they do not exist.
A code works once, for that address only, and expires after 7 days.
Take access away#
Open Clients and choose Remove access next to the person. It ends access to every site at once.
Good to know#
- A client cannot see your usage, costs, billing, keys or other clients.
- A look only client cannot suggest, comment or approve.
- Access is limited by your plan: on a plan without team seats you see a message about upgrading, not an error.
- Your own branding (name, logo, colour) is a separate setting under Branding on the same plans. It is not yet shown inside the main dashboard.
- Several sites mean several codes today.
- The Agency tools are not switched on in the running product yet (the module is built and tested but not composed into the host): OPEN.
