Bulk actions and re-translation

BuiltLast updated

On this page

In the editor, select rows with the checkboxes, or choose select-all for the current page, then pick an action. You can act on up to 500 rows at once.

Mark as reviewed#

Moves Machine translations to Reviewed and clears their quality flags. Use it after you have read them. Reviewed translations are never sent to the engine again.

Revert to untranslated#

Deletes the translation for that language only. The row becomes Untranslated, and visitors see your original text until you translate it again. Other languages are not touched.

Re-translate in the background#

Queues a translation job for the selected rows. The job runs in the background. The page shows the job number, the state and a progress bar.

Rows that are Manual or Reviewed are never queued. A person's work is not overwritten. A forced re-run changes Machine rows only.

The job uses your AI-word allowance. If you have used it all, the job is refused with a message that lists your options. See When your allowance is used up.

Double clicks#

If you submit the same action twice from the same page view, you get the same job. A later action from a new page view is a new job.

What bulk actions do not do#

They do not publish. Visitors see the result only after you publish. See Publish changes.

The table does not reload by itself when a job finishes. Reload the page to see the new text.
